On April 4, 2008 at a Los Angeles event commemorating the assassination of Martin Luther King, the African-American fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi gave Israeli-American Daphna Ziman its Tom Bradley Award for community service. At that event, Reverend Eric Lee, President of the LA branch of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, made remarks about Jews that caused Ms. Ziman to walk out and generated a national controversy.

On May 1, 2008 - Holocaust Day - Ms. Ziman and Reverend Lee came together at Ms. Ziman's house with leaders of the Jewish and African-American communities to affect a reconciliation.

  • The only thing jews and blacks have in common is they have both set the bar, as the smartest and the dumbest people on the planet.Black america has become very anti-jew because of their jealousy of accomplishments and success. I see no point for any dialog at all, I find it borderline offensive.

  • Truth is blacks innately support Jews and Israel and are proud of them.

Though the reality is that Jews have kept their culture and know they are Jews

thus stand together, whereas blacks are too busy trying to stunt and outshine

each other rather than being strongly community minded.

Blacks & Jews, backbone of the demographic party, somehow by default have very similar political

ideologies. Black Jewish relations is so deep you can study it at Uni. In our oppression we were intensely united

  • @spssw no the truth is that there have been many Europeans who decided to fund organisations who were then falsely taught spun info against the Jews as they saw that together they were changing things in the states. I can give you my sources I was reading into it a while ago.

"Although the story in Genesis is actually about Canaan, and although the Torah assigns no racial characteristics or rankings to Ham, early Jewish writers turned the focus of their attention from Canaan to Ham and interpreted the Biblical narrative in a racial way. The Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 108b states: "Our Rabbis taught: Three copulated in the ark, and they were all punished—the dog, the raven, and Ham. The dog was doomed to be tied, the raven expectorates"

" The "curse of Ham" had been used by some members of Abrahamic religions to justify racism and the enslavement of people of Black African ancestry, who were believed to be descendants of Ham.[2][3] They were often called Hamites and were believed to have descended through Canaan or his older brothers. Proponents of slavery in the United States increasingly invoked the "curse of Ham" in the US during the 19th century, as a response to the growing abolitionist movement.
