Gosh I'd love to go to America and do a cattle drive! Unfortunately the closest I've ever got to a cattledrive is the film The Horse Whisperer! Ah well, one day!!

The idea of all the ropes is to keep the horse tied down. To give the horse the idea that they can't kick. After all this the 'trainer' usually scares the horse with bags of cans or yelling. Horses do respond to this kind of treatment, doing as they are told out of fear, not respect. A horse is a flight animal, and will run before fighting to save their lives. These pictures are to show you what NOT to do.
