Philip Yancey probes the very heartbeat--the most fundamental, challenging, perplexing, and deeply rewarding aspect--of our relationship with God: prayer.
In the video and in his recently released book by the same title, Yancey doesn't argue a position or dictate answers, he leads his viewers and readers through a process to a point of consideration. Join him in the exploration of the mysterious intersection where God and humans meet and relate.
Prayer moves the hand that moves the universe.

@lostmangos If even the prayers of Jesus were not answered,
what makes you think yours will be?

"Many times, people's heart changes after Prayer !! not before...."
People's hearts change all the time.
Before prayer, after prayer,
and with no prayer whatsoever.
They change in every religion,
they change after meditation and yoga,
after smoking marijuana, after falling in love,
after car wrecks and sunsets and a good night's sleep.

One pair of hands actually helping
is worth more than a million pairs of hands clasped in prayer.
Prayer is an excuse to stay comfortably at home
while feeling like you are helping others.
Prayer is nearly always a substitute for getting involved.
Or, in the case of praying for the sick,
a substitute for common sense.
If you want to help,
unfold your hands and get involved!

so the geneva project not funded by any church by the way was ludicris in their finding and the carbon test a scientific thing if I'm not wrong used to find the dates dating them back well in to the first and second century a.d. is just wrong right and where might I add did you get your info on the inaccuracy of the dead sea scrolls just wondering?

Ok the thing about it being translated so many times its facts are meaningless is a ignorant statement that is in falicy the reason is that is ignoring the dead sea scrolls all originals when put next to are translations of today in the kjv and the niv for sure there was only 7 errors 6 of those being ananyms(sp) words of the same meaning the one error that can't be understood is found in Galatians just thought I'd get you caught up to the known can't use that argument its dated.
