Most of my neighbors and I would share whatever we had.
I wouldn't mind if some of these guys were my neighbors though!! lol

the best indicators of what people will do when there is no water, food or police is to look review what people did in the past ...and look at any Country on Earth that does not have those things. Basic human nature does not change.

Nice hobby. But to see what can come about in a vacuum, look up Los Zetas. Some seriously bad people who shut down towns to get at one or two people.None of this preperation will be of any use.

The second guy strikes me as a shoot first type person ie, would shoot someone for trespassing even if they didn't realize.

@DualxWieldxMedia I agree. Survival through cooperation just doesn't sell tickets at the box office. Roaming gangs of marauders does.

The guy at the beginning looks like he knows what he is doing, but what is he and his crew going to do when military goon squads in helicopters repel onto his property to seize his food for redistribution and haul them off to FEMA camps?
They will spot his property with drones, then send the goons in. They will probably say lay down your weapons, we are seizing this property under authorization from the dictatorship any resistance will be met with deadly force. The goons will have grenades etc.
