classic songs....big year for the yardbirds...they're are doing the zeppfest and have a 5cd boxset coming out on the easy-action label with alot of rarities.(june/july..release).

Wow, thank you.... You know, the band, "The Yardbirds" was really a guitarist led band (seemingly); and after hearing Jeff Beck, I don't believe that he played one wit less than Pagey himself; although it may have been that the latter had many ideas, themes & melodies ("riffs")... Unfortunate that, after Jeff left, and the band carried on (using Jimmy's recollection of events), they did not realize what talent they truly had... But this would not be the only time a great band split up.

Great, three performances are live, but the second one (French TV?) with Jimmy Page is mimed to playback. But nevertheless Jimmy plays some nice air guitar

@TheYardbirdsWorld ....jim is also working on renaissance box-set with demos/unreleased items from his own tapes and keith's tapes.a 18minute video of the original renaissance is also going to be in the set...the video was thought to be lost but was found via john hawken....
