  • That lady rocks. You guys sound misinformed about Taichi and martial arts at all. Strength come in all sizes and shapes. Why is it that an olympic weight lifter who can lift 300lbs can't do one finger stand? Trust me, don't judge a book by its cover because down the streets, you're going to get ur ass wooped by someone who don't look like it stupid...

  • hi i have been studying tai chi since 1997 and i would like to clear something up if i may. you get out of tai chi what you put into it! this lady may have spent years doing tai chi but it was most likely e-z taichi and short forms and thats good but you can really get into great shape and yes you can learn to fight useing tai chi! but you really have to work at it. nothing worth haveing in life comes eazy!

  • A movement where the ellbow is lifted over the shoulder or taken behind the vertical body line is not useful. One can stop your right arm with one finger. The monkey stand looks as if you will fall backwards by yourself. Sorry, I´m not convinced.

  • why cant the person who can do a one finger stand bench 300 pounds?

  • als ob ehrlich laaaaaaaaaaaaaber nich xD

  • You're partly right, but the effortlessness and easiness comes only after many long years of intense practice, blood, sweat and tears. It looks easy when a true master performs a technique,it might even be easy to the master but not to a beginner.Look at the taoist masters of Wudang mountain, their martial art looks so easy and gentle but if you trained there for a while you'd see that it's not at all that easy, trust me!

  • Nicely said.

  • OHMGROWNCRON; taoism is a religion. tai chi is a martial art and all of the people who invented tai chi were not taoists. and what about all of the people that have added to tai chi over the last 600 years? and how do you account for all the medical studys done in both in china and here america the say that tai chi improves health if its all so eazy?

  • Actually in taoism its all about effortless and easyness.
