I tend to tell people I'm studying for a PHD in classical architecture, that usually shuts them up. Astrophysics is another good one, MBA when talking to Asians.

Don't be silly, of course it isn't. Your best option is to lie about your marks and become a trickster. Society is not very forgiving to the 2.2 any more unfortunately. Become a con artist and don't take life too seriously, there will always be assholes like me who try to make you feel bad. I got a 2.1 and it was of no use to me at all, join the revolution and fuck society, it's all bullshit, fuck labour, fuck conservative, all the same lies.

Sorry, I have no idea. Track and field is not a very well-known sport in England. I'm not even sure if we have track and field at Durham or not, but if you are going to university in England I would recommend going to one that is good for your major. Oxford, Cambrige, UCL and Durham (and Edenburgh or St. Andrew's for Scotland) are usually recognized as the top schools. In England, the top universities for athletics are often also top overall.

It's also a great university. It may not have the reputation of Oxbridge, but it doesn't have the pretension, either. Durham also ranked higher this year than Oxford and Cambridge in Archaeology (my subject).
