This is a rare example of an 1850s locomotive, most of which were scrapped. I wonder what would have happened if they still used those older locomotives.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures. We shot these photographs several years ago while visiting St. Louis. We are photographers but at the time only had point and shoot cameras with us. We were amazed by the quality of the museum's rolling stock! Great place to visit!
