I moved to Charleston from Greenville two years ago and am severly homesick. This is one of the biggest shitholes on earth...

I traveled there recently to see the upstate shakespeare festival and was absolutely captivated by the downtown scenery. I am going back to visit as soon as possible.

This was taken back in April '06, probably on a weeknight. We've since moved here, and just came back from walking it on a Friday night. You're right, it's much busier, but you can still walk around just fine. Awesome place, really!
