An average of 1,400 people have died every day in the Congo since 1998, due to civil war. Here, a malnourished orphan is cared for at a nutrition center run in conjunction with Medecins Sans Frontieres in Butsiri.
I recently came across a list of the Ten Worst Countries to be a Woman. It was a grim list of places where women have little opportunity or where they are actively discriminated against. The second worst country for women to live was the Democratic Republic of Congo. When I think about the different ways womens bodies become sites for social and political control, it is imposible to escape the topic of sexual violence. It is a really horrible topic, but sexual violence against women is the most brutal and oldest form of attack against womens bodies and psyches.

Ok so if only 20% are protestant Christians, then Christianity is not religion of this country.

catholism is counterfeit religion, christian-like, but definately not Christian.

Even of the 20% protestants, only God really knows how many are True Christians.

So there's no need to try to make out that Christians are a bad influence and do bad things.
