@fatturdburger ... The main reason mine were so big was the length of time they stayed in the ground. I really should have harvest them a couple of months before but we were getting so much rain I couldn't get in there.......... Donald

@webcajun yes a couple of years ago I left sum lettuce to self seed & the next year they came up everywere. I'm just putting together a slideshow as I don't have a video of it I'll let you know when it is ready.
