"The Antec Skeleton Case has open air design & is really intended for reviewers, testers or anyone who's swapping hardware a lot. Being able to easily & quickly install or remove computer components is a fantastic. It consists of just two parts, the frame & the component tray. The component tray is where the main computer hardware components like the motherboard, drives & PSU gets installed. This case is certainly not for everyone, but being a reviewer I absolutely love it! Watch the video to find out more..." ~http://www.3dGameMan.com

  • @WUBBADUBDUBDUB It doesn't work that way because it's an open air case. The hot air rises from the sides so doesnt go into the fan.

  • You made wonderful Review.

  • RODNEY COME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. we miss your removable mother board tray rants :(

  • @willeking03 The heat will be going up and the fan would be pushing hot air back down onto the components. The temperatures will be higher than it would be if there was no case at all.

In order to effectively blow air away from the computer, a fan blowing air upwards would be used. Alternatively you can use fans on the side like any useful case on the market.

If the air was to blow upwards, the fan would draw cool air from the sides and increase airflow by a substantial amount.

  • vibrartions

  • @WUBBADUBDUBDUB It's an open air case, so exhaust fans wouldn't really be needed. The fan blowing down is to blow cool air from around the case onto the components.

  • it wouldnt support water cooling yeah /: ?

  • WOOPS! I spilled water on it!

  • Why in gods name would they have the fan blowing air down? Heat rises >.<

  • Nice indepth review
