@WUBBADUBDUBDUB It doesn't work that way because it's an open air case. The hot air rises from the sides so doesnt go into the fan.

@willeking03 The heat will be going up and the fan would be pushing hot air back down onto the components. The temperatures will be higher than it would be if there was no case at all.
In order to effectively blow air away from the computer, a fan blowing air upwards would be used. Alternatively you can use fans on the side like any useful case on the market.
If the air was to blow upwards, the fan would draw cool air from the sides and increase airflow by a substantial amount.

@WUBBADUBDUBDUB It's an open air case, so exhaust fans wouldn't really be needed. The fan blowing down is to blow cool air from around the case onto the components.
