hi! i have couple questions for you, hope you can answer them;)

i'm hispanic and have extremely thick, coarse, kinky, FREEZY hair. my hair used to be thick but not coarse, now that it coarse, it has develop these wanna be mini waves, before it was pretty straight. i also have VERY oily scalp, so i have to shampoo and condition my hair daily. Do you think this is the right treatment for me? how long do the results lasts? will it matter if i wash my hair every day. thank you in advance;)

@tinacrispis I think you will be fine washing your hair every day, but you should use a sulfate and sodium free shampoo. I use Burt's Bees, and it works well for me. This treatment works VERY well for frizzy hair. It will not remove all curl, but it will be extremely quick and easy to straighten if you like to wear it that way.  I will continue having these treatments as needed, as I love the difference it has made!

did you use keratin shampoos after the treatment to make it last longer? how long did it last? did you suffer from hair loss because of the treatment?..lol sorry so many questions. i want to be sure about some things before i get the treatment done to my hair :)

I have been using Burt's Bees shampoos and conditioners only since the treatment. See my new video posted today titled Keratin Therapy #2 February 2010 to see how the treatment has lasted. The first part of the video shows my hair 5 months after the treatment. The last part of the video was taken after my 2nd treatment (yesterday).

(continued from previous comment) I seem to have less hair loss since the treatment. I do have some breakage which is only noticable by the small pieces of hair I find on my counter, but that could be from the coloring. It doesn't seem to affect how my hair looks, and I do not have any split ends. I spend much less time styling my hair, and finally have the hair I have wanted for my entire life!

I just had this done and I am on day 2, can't wait to wash my hair tomorrow. I love it! There is absolutely no frizz, I have very fine virgin hair and was worried about hair loss, so far no hair loss at all. I paid $400 and should last 6 months. My eyes did burn a bit when stylist was applying product, other than that no side effects.
