Free Speech Under Assault by Police Chief in Brooksville, Florida

The video here involving the simple effort to use a PA system for an event that I organized to allow Veterans the opportunity to present their side (unfiltered) to the public was squelched by City officials. There is no free speech if one side's speech is allowed to be heard and another's is not.

In April of 2008, the County Parks Director, Mr. Fagan gave us permission to use a PA system in the same location where we see Mr. Sagar speaking here this past Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009.




In fact, not only had I spoken at other events through a PA system in the past as a candidate for Congress, so had everyone from the Daughters of the Confederacy to the Klu Klux Klan.

So back in April of 2008, having secured permission from Parks Director Fagan, the Brooksville Police promptly instructed Parks workers to SHUT OFF THE POWER to the outlet!

Chief Turner, City Manager Vacca and I would surmise by deduction the City Attorney as well as others unknown... (ROBO-CALL) threatening Veterans with retribution if they participate... all worked together to SUPPRESS the speech of the Veterans.

Last Saturday, November 7th I pressed Chief Turner for answers only to be THREATENED "I'm WARNING YOU" by the Chief when I would not relent in demanding answers as to why there was a different standard employed for RIGHT WING REVOLUTIONARIES over a group of aging disabled U.S.Military Veterans?




WHY did he run and try to hide? When caught in a lie it is difficult.




Tony Holt as a card carrying member of what passes for "The Press" is another story that I am familiar with personally and enjoy exposing for what they stand for.
