I also wanted to ask - is there any statistics available on the life-span of people living with HIV? Or in how many years do most cases develop into AIDS?

Depends on general health of person and where in the world they are. Without any therapy could be only 7 years from infection with HIV to becoming sick but can also be longer than 15 years.

i think the lethal injection should be administered to those who deliberately spread the virus and to those who do not attempt to protect themselves from aids, thus contracting it, if we get rid of these irresponsible ppl, then maybe the disease wil die out......strict laws should be made about this, such as carrying an up-to-date certificate proving that u dont have the virus, and it should be renewed every couple months or so. And it should be a federal offense if u fail to provide one.

Prevention is better than cure....... God made this infection for those who are very sinful and not following hes words....there are more other fun things than aids we can never find a cure for this infection....Its the Science of God were human minds has Limitations...

I cannot accept that. AIDS is jsut like any other illness that can be linked to lifestyle. So is death from Type 2 diabetes (liinked to obesity) God;'s judgment on the "sdin" of over-eating? Is livfer failure God' judgment on those who drink a lot of alcohol? Is death from severe diarrhoea and vomiting God's judgment on people for not washing their hands? Is death from heart attack God's judgment on those who eat too much and don't exercise?

lol - yeah okay. And scientists have been trying to find a vaccine for Ebola, which by the way had emerged back in 1976 and they have yet to still find a cure for that virus. So, all the excuses this guy explains in this upload about the timeline of AIDS and whatever mistakes we made with is a crock. I was just watching this video and reading some of the comments here. I really can't believe some of the stupidity found in some of these comments. AIDS is a group of symptoms from an immunosupressed person from HIV viral infection. Having antibodies to the HIV virus in the blood doesn't equal immunity. HIV is still very real and very dangerous.HIV is spread from cell to cell by free floating attachment to receptors on T4 cells, and viral synapsis.Look up the videos here on youtube showing this.

Wow, I think this guy cares. Rumor is that H.I.V. was engineered. Once people understand that it is impossible for random destruction by a jet impact plus random destruction of fire-proofing plus random destruction by fires burning at random intensities to produce a symmetrical collapse of a steel frame building, then the idea of HIV being engineered takes on a whole new light.
