upshall didn't work well on our team last year. he was floating around on the 3rd line, not getting a lot of ice time, and it wouldn't have made sense to play him on the richards or carter line. we needed a guy like carcillo and phoenix needed a guy like upshall for their top line. so, yeah, it sucks what happened to upshall, but it makes sense and it lets him play a bigger role on a less-stacked team (a role he's assumed very well. hat trick last night i hear!)

He's been a tremendous addition to our Coyotes line! Him and Lombardi have amazing chemistry and with those two and Doan, they're only going to get better as the season goes on!!
I miss Danny on our team, the energy he brought to the games and to our crowd was unbelievable, but I've fallen in love with Upshalls playing and I couldn't have asked for a better trade!
Sorry to the Flyers fans, but he's loved in Phoenix!!
