Luck of the Ring

I lost my class ring in 1985 or so when I was at the beach in Port Aransas, Texas. I thought it had been stolen.

About ten years later, someone visiting Port A found my ring. She kept it in her jewelry box.

She contacted me on Facebook. Here's some of the exchange between us:

What high school did you graduate from? What sport did you do? I found it on the beach. If you can tell me the answers, it is probably yours.

Wow I think it is yours! It is from Robert E Lee high school and yes there is a swimmer. and yes it is rebels!!!!!! I found it on the beach in Port Aransas about 15 years ago or more. I've had it in my jewelry box ever since thinking it would be awesome to give to the guy who lost it. and by the way, the stone is blue and there are a he'll of a lot of Robert Baxters.
