@MHMemeDoubleYourFun I see. Thanks for the info. I've not played Power Instinct before so wasn't aware of that.

@merlin196 Breakable walls have been done in Power Instinct a year before Kaiser Knuckle. I've seen tournament videos of Dan-Ku-Ga, which I assume it was released, but in limited quantities.

@1983parrothead That excellent.

@TopperGame However, to help differentiate itself, Kaiser Knuckle would include Desperation Moves (similar to Fatal Fury 2/Special), and the ability to break through the walls of the stage (similar to Power Instinct). And there are even more powerful basic attacks beyond the standard Heavy Punch and Kick, up to a total of five levels. And to further add to the fun, certain stages included special zones to power up different characters abilities, which could be accessed by using a Crush Attack.

This is a great game. One of the nice things about Kaiser Knuckle is that there are destructable barriers at the sides of most stages. Once destroyed new areas are opened up at the sides a bit like in Real Bout Special but much larger. An enhanced version of this game called 'Dan Ku Ga' plays even better but that was never released.

Love the opening.... Actually the opening is the most original I've ever seen.
The gameplay is pretty good as well.
