We are talking about The death of 50-70 million Black people who were kidnapped from there home By Euros to make Euros / Americans the wealth that they enjoy to this day. Dyson got out of poverty because he was determined to change his life for the better and because he wanted his son to have a better life then he did not because he is the "light skin negro". White people or any other race or group of people see blacks as blacks even if ur the yellow brother it doesnt matter to them.

@feldman30012 You might have a point there. That's because for some strange reason black people in the Midwest are just mean, ghetto, ignorant, and always have an attitude. I have been to Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, and Saint Louis. The black people in those cities like to stare at out of towners and give off attitudes especially when educate black people such as myself who speak proper English. They look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language when I speak English.

@feldman30012 Umm sorry to interrupt but I live in a white neighborhood and there are plenty of High School drop outs who are white. I went to a predominantly white school growing up in private schools and there are definately alot of high school students that drop out who are white especially the rich ones because their parents don't care. I have seen with my own two eyes and I have mostly white friends so I know.

studies overwhelming show that when blks are given the same opps. they do as well as everyone else. (the homocide/ high school drop out rate is the same with whts/blks when poverty levels are the same). and blk males are more likely to take jobs that pay lower rates than whites and even 2nd gen hispanic immigrants. our country didnt view those in poverty as "lazy" til blacks became the dominant face of those that were poor
