These "experts" seriously need to change their professions. Sorry. These guys don't understand the way markets actually work. They are focusing exactly on what is irrelavant.
"Those who do not see it coming, and still don't understand why it has occurred, are unaware of how the market works. They are in denial of the shortcomings of the Fed's monetary policy. The economy cannot be rescued by the same people...which brought the havoc upon us." -Ron Paul, "End the Fed"
@smartpeeple Actually a lot of what they said was close and somewhat accurate. 4000 dow was insanely off. 7000 points off. You really could not get more wrong than that. When they make these predictions, they research the hell out of the markets. They have a whole team who get paid to do this all day. Just making an assumption that the market is rigged and that it is going to crash is just not an appropriate mind frame to have if you are going to make intelligent/accurate forecasts.
I think you are looking at 4000 -- drops/more layoffs/more home loss/and more distrust and disrupt. People -- save what you have and don't trust the market.....it's still the banker's game...If you invest in anything invest in yourself - start your own business - invest and buy local. Sorry Zack but this so not true and shame on you for positing it....
