"Wave" (also known as "Vou Te Contar" in Portuguese) is a song written by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Recorded as an instrumental on Jobim's 1967 album of the same name, English lyrics were added by Jobim for a 1969 recording by Frank Sinatra. On this recording, Sinatra sung his lowest note, a low E♭."

@Blanka5881 Just a correction, Blanka: Jobim's career started in 1956, when he joined Vinicius de Morais to compose the "Orfeu da Conceição" movie soundtrack.
The Bossa Nova movement began in the same year, but from the hands of João Gilberto, who, with the bossa "Bim-Bom", created the new style of singing and playing samba, deemphasizing the percussive section of rythm and reinforcing the melodic and harmonic sections.
