Takes off pretty well, its just got NO midrange so combined with a 4 speed autobox, it just hangs around until 4,500rpm when the VVT kicks in.
It does fly once above 4,500rpm and i have had it go off the clock (reads to 180kmh).
Great little pocket rocket, if you are thinking about getting one i would strongly urge you to do it!.

  • one of the best exhaust sound for an automatic swift... What muffler did u put on? Chambered? JASMA? locally made or branded? really interested in it

  • @joric130 the pipe was 'thunder' 4into1 and the back box was just generic cheap locally made thing.

I agree, it did sound very good, turbo'd sounded even better (same exhaust backbox used)

  • where did u get those headlights from....look a nice colour

  • @samwhitewick Chinese 6000k HID's, i have had 3 sets of these on 3 different cars and have to say they do give the best colour, though i doubt its really 6000k as it looks a bit blue, also they arent that bright really!.

  • hey man, in know u sold ur car but i wanted to to know, did u remove the cat? and if u did, was the check engine light on? thanx

  • @smellybumlove damn i gotta have that sound

... :D is the muffler chambered? or a straight type N1?

  • alright thanks a lot for the info bro.

i want turbocharge my swift but i was scare it will be waste of time and money since it is an auto.

  • e-manage cant overide the stock ecu very well, so at half throttle openings it can cut the ignition timing rather abruptly causing the engine to cut out....

It depends on your tuner, i would recommend HKS F-CON IS or PRO, or the new EMS which is only around $250us, i forget the exact name of it, but i wished i used it the first time around.

The ECU is the most important part of the turbo kit, get it wrong and you have a useless turbo really :(

  • thanks man. which ECU brand you recommend? and about how much?

    avoid e-manage? why?

  • Much better and faster, it takes turbocharging pretty good!.

But make sure you use the right ECU!.

    avoid e-manage at all costs!.
