  • Very interesting... I did a sketch of what you speak of on a napkin can came to the following conclusion:

Leaders -- hierarchy -- controlled by selfishness -- no God.

    Earth -- give/take equally -- controlled by need for balance/ALL -- faith/God

blah blah blah.. why do i find it so hard to convey what I want?!! arrghhh.

  • Brilliant.

    Formulas!

  • The premise is interesting, Maybe 'leaders' and democracy are pawns (playthings) with a constantly reduced (failed) capacity for mastery of physical laws - 'leading' on a puppetmaster's (God's) little stage.

  • Sadistic God.

Or is it that we are The God?

Ehh God -- I'm pretty skeptical given the current state of life on the planet.

  • That is interesting. Though, I doubt I would ever call George W. Bush my golden calf idol. Just a thought.

  • Bush is null.

  • Agreed, Benny. A democracy must, by it's very nature, be atheistic. Not as in it should hold a decided "there is no God" stance...but in that it should not take a stance at all.

  • "I 'd like to say something about hierarchy, democracy, monarchy, God..." ( but first let me grab a snack) ;)

  • Dude, you look like you're a castaway ranting away on your desolate island. Compounding that, your wife-beater's white in the sun is producing a visual glare ... evoking a character in Heroes about to go nuclear. If Wor1dpeace goes nuclear on a desolate island, would anyone besides maybe John Locke give a hoot? So, Hulk gone by, Dark Knight is upon us and you have yet to give us any more FURY! Do it! Do it now! This philosophizing on a deserted tree island is da suxors.

  • ISamuel Chapter 8 explains what happens when we choose to serve kings instead of God.

  • How about Switzerland? A pretty good approximation of a "true democracy" I reckon. Any Swiss citizen can challenge a law, and with enough voting support, overturn it. Aspects of The Swiss Constitution can similarly be challenged, voted on, and changed. That's "true democracy" in my book, where the will of the majority of the people is paramount.

  • Yes there is. A democracy is the old way of doing government, where the people make the decisions by a " Majority rules wins". In a republic we elect leaders to make decisions for us and we are protected with a constitution. They are very different! A true democracy doesn't really exist today, anywhere.

  • The whole idea of democracy is great, but its not pure. Why? Because you can be anyone off the street and aspire to be president, but by the time you graduate college, rub elbows with some powerful people, you will realize that unless you join Freemasonry you will never sit in the higher realms of Government. They bring them up in the system of Masonry, which in essence is control..control.There is no president that will truly represent the common FREE MAN until this Spiderweb is gone.

  • Is there a difference? Surely your republic IS a democracy, where the people elect the leaders.
