Such a shame this song isn't more recognised. I've been playing this song at my covers gigs for the past few years when no ones present to get myself off...no one knows it...they just wanna hear Sweet home Alabama...:I

@QUIZFILTER ..i feel soo bad for u..i lost my pup rex almost 6 yrs ago to a hit and run (almost)driver in huntington ny...all these yrs later, still not over it...they are our family, more than some of the humans sometimes..there are many songs that when i hear them, i fall apart and cry my eyes out..its like he's still here with me..id give my life to have him back even for one minute, bark at me, and then let me DIE...i dont have a problem with that..good luck and hang in there...pete

This song is so gorgeous & emotional. Always reminds me now of when I lost my fat puffy old kitty back in March 2011 & I remember listening to this song shortly after i realized that she probably wasn't coming home again (she took a long walk 1 night about 1 AM...) & the ending of the song, which is very beautiful & dreamy, made me burst into tears & I kept listening to it over & over 'cause I just needed to cry. Now everytime I hear that song I start to cry & remember her. She was my buddy :(

One of Jeff's/ELO's lesser known gems. When I first heard the original recording from the Album Face the Music, it freaked me out how perfect a song could be and could not get any better. Then Jeff goes and performs it live INCREDIBLE that the live version sounds even better than the Album version topped with Richards Piano solo at the end is like the icing to the perfect cake.
