  • Good HQ. You and I probably have the same video cut :) -- One correction though; this performance occured sometime in late December, 1995.

  • I had a good VHS back in the day (4 heads). They transfered well to DVD and now Youtube. Thanks for the date correction.

  • we need this era back

  • One word that comes to mind when I hear music like this is "sincerity" Something that is FOR SURE lacking in todays "top hits"

  • I'll never forget the 90's I was 16 when this song came out. I was falling in love. Learning to drive. Smoking pot. hanging out with some of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen in the prime of their youth. Drinking beer with buddies. It was high school. Just having that pain of falling for someone in school and how bad you wanted to be with them. Growing up in those summers everything just seemed so prosperous. America has changed. The soul is gone.

  • If you didn't live in that era you'll never understand. Things were different. Things were better.

  • By far the funniest and cutest GGD video!

  • bring back the 90's! johhny looks like sandra bullock @ 1:20 lol

  • This must have been massive for these guys, saw them in Denmark and thought these guys should go Global and they did, my kids adore them and have learnt guitar to their songs Keep it gooing boys.

  • @sgniwder99 Exactly...Nobody "Lip Syncs" on Letterman

  • @Standard420247 Yes they are playing. The song is in an open tuning, which is why John Rzeznik removes his left hand from the neck of the guitar at times. They've gotten a bad name after all of their ballads became radio hits, but they were a hard-working traveling band--definitely not lip synchers who went on stage with the instruments unplugged.

  • They aren't even fucking playing

  • I had a lot of VHS stuff from back in the day and then my vcr busted. Didn't hold onto the tapes. Now I hate myself. Thanks for sharing. This was awesome. Probably the last time Dave offered to share his egg nog!

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Wow, it's such a crisp video! I LOVE this! It's too cute when they basically taking a running jump into the egg nog and Mike hops in last LOL! Always good watching them have a good time. They're just such cool, fun and amazing guys. Great performance too, of course! Gotta love Goo Goo Dolls! =)
