we are all atheists

I can't prove, nor disprove, the existence of a deity, but I do not believe in it. I used to be agnostic until my brother :) helped me realize that I was an atheist. Calling myself agnostic was easier during deconversion, because it seemed extreme to call myself an atheist at the time. I just needed an intellectual push in the direction of clarity. It worked. Agnostic atheist? Maybe. I prefer atheist, because it is unambiguous.
Oh yeah, by the way, I can fly. But, I never let anyone see me. LOL

@mindwis3 An expert in what field? I will look him up.

@mindwise 3 If someone would ask me if I believed in a god I would say, no because I don't have any faith in said god. I would simply say that I don't believe in it.

Yes, it does make sense when you put it like that.
I read you saying s'thing like:
Since god seems absent, you live your life -as if- there is no god. (much like me)
Therefore, the whole "do you believe" question is basically redundant, and so perhaps your response to "do you believe" would be closer to "believe in what?" (agnostic).
If someone would then outline a definition of "that god" and ask you if you believe in that god, then you might say you are atheistic to that god.
?
tnx,

I agree with Lisa on the point of I cant prove or disprove that there is a god, but in my case I don't believe in a god. I'm a religious free person, I just live my life and don't over analyze what I choose to think. But to answer your question from the video, technically I would consider myself atheist but I think it suits my personality to call myself agnostic because I don't care to dwell on it. Hope what I said makes sense.
Let me ask u a question Mr. atheist. When exactly do u think that animals started thinking like us. If u can answer this question logically, I'll stop believing in God.

Hi cmpresents,
Thank you for your comment, i hope you don't mind i removed the double post...
If you would define "thinking like us" then perhaps i could answer logically why i THINK that is the case ;p
I don't think that would be a reason for you to stop believing though.
in the other comment (other video) you say read the bible with the spirit of god.
I think you (believing you) have the spirit of god with you, is a good reason to believe in god for You, but not for me :)
Kind regards,

@mindwis3 Well the question is simple. When did animals or an animal started thinking like a human. In other words if you can prove to me how did all the qualities we have as human evolved, without God, from animals. I can accept evolution, but I wouldn't call it evolution, I would call it creavolution. For me, without God there is nothing intelligent.

@cmpresents
Well, "thinking like humans" contains a discrimination between our thinking and that of i.e. a mouse.
So showing how a mouse thinks like humans would render "thinking like humans" is no longer thinking like just humans.
I understand what you mean though :)
IF you are GENUINELY interested in information this, i strongly suggest you read some books by "Frans de Waal", who is an expert in this field.
Kind regards,
