So, I am still contemplating buying a Mustang III. Does this 'fizz' issue happen on all of them?, or is it only happening to some of them?

I'm taking my Mustang III back tomorrow, the fizz is horrible, especially on the low E. Even my wife, who never notices ANY difference in audio or video quality noticed the fizz in this amp that WASN'T present in my shitty Crate practice amp. Pretty bad when an old, $50 5w amp sounds better than this $300 100w piece of Chinese shit.

@Rom1970 No and they never will because it is a hardware issue.

Thanks a million for posting this. Even though the use of two different sources is a legitimate criticism, the test results are dramatic enough to be compelling for me. You pay your money and take your choice: Fender won't be getting my money for a mustang iii

Does anybody know if Fender has fixed it yet with a firmware update?
they are recorded from two different sources?
absolute rubbish of a test

The video is comparing the spectrum of a clean sounding note with the spectrum of a fizzy one and since the fizz is unlike anything normally heard or seen in a clean guitar sound it dosn't matter that different guitars and amps were used. But if you really don't like the two source thing then simply ignore the "clean" recording and check out the fizzy one, It shows you what's happening with the fizz all by itself.

I couldn't hear a damn thing to be honest.

@musicmatty67 Sorry man, it's not subtle.

Interesting. Was this recorded from the USB output, or mic'd from the speaker?

@coppice99 The "clean" note was recorded from the USB output. The fizzy one was from the speaker.
