i think they gave this to sandra because they know she'll never get one or do anything close to getting an oscar and this is the closest she'll ever get because the movie was good. nonetheless, im happy for her even though it wasnt the most well deserved

Aren't you doing the same regarding The Blind Side? Conservatives giving themselves a pat on the back because this movie got recognition and Sandra Bullock won for playing a white conservative Republican woman who, through the goodness of her heart, helped nurture and support a disenfranchised African American person? Recognizing this woman's good deed while not doing your own thing towards ending racism and poverty? It's very hypocritical.
