  • I hope they realize that Johnny B. Goode was written by Chuck Berry....A Black Rock n Roll Legend.

  • I just don't know who's the racist one here...them or you...Just enjoy the show and STFU. Maybe you'll learn something from your new President.

  • shellshockd12: you're an idiot and not clever or amusing.

  • Oh I lov Vidor I'm Proud to (: & I'm a VJHS BRIG(:

  • By FAR the most well directed and talented HS marching band anywhere!

  • We used to play Vidor for their homecoming because our football team was so bad. (I went to Beaumont French, changed to Beaumont Charlton-Pollard). I thought the lights out halftime show was so cool. I don't know if they still do this, but the band used to march with flashlights on their shoes, ending with Slavonic Folk Suite. We marched 132 and always made 1's at UIL, but they always outnumbered us, and were so LOUD!

  • @shellshockkd12 And just think,a white boy named Buddy Holly played the Apollo! A white rock n roll legend, playing at a legendary black theater.I guess I am missing something here. What is your point?

  • The comment about Chuch Berry being a black rock and roll legend is a typical idiot with a misconception about Vidor. I HATE IDIOTS. Also, who can enjoy the video when the country bumpkin hicks shooting the tape won't SHUT UP.

  • Omg, I was a twirler on that line, I'm gunna miss homecoming

  • Thanks for posting, So many memories. Nothing like Vidor!
