Top of the World Shonen Knife Theological MTV

Good day! This video was made by our group (GodSaves Productions) for our Theology Music Video Project in the College of Commerce and Business Administration of the University of Santo Tomas. This features the song TOP OF THE WORLD by Shonen Knife, a Japanese rendition of the song of the Carpenters. The video showcases the Theological idea that GOD MADE A GOOD AND ORDERED WORLD.

The setting of the entire video was designed to imply that God made nature in favor of us men, presenting the enjoyment of the group members as they interact with God's creation in Manila Zoo.

The MTV was edited solely by the director (stated at the Cast and Crew below) through Adobe Premiere CS3, with numerous effects including the Chroma Key. PLEASE take time to leave your comments. I will greatly appreciate your feedback.

@convergence03 Actually, the name of Shonen Knife's lead singer is Naoko Yamano (the woman in the pic for the "rock in Japan fes 06" link to the right) , she started the band in 1981 with her younger sister Atsuko and their best friend Michie Nakatani (the 3 women in the B&W pic for the Frogophobia link) Since that time, she's the only remaining original member, but, the band is still as good as ever! Shonen Knife means "boy's knife" in Japanese; a reference to the band's punky flavour.

@Shoknifeman it's just funny how humans interpret things. yet, remarkable: the lengths to which they will go to fit things to their versions of reality. well, we all have our beliefs, and i do respect those of others' though they are contrary to our christian doctrines. ^_^

@convergence03 ...well, ok... the World was actually created by thermo-nuclear expellings from the sun, that later formed a mass in the Sun's gravity, cooled and formed the planet but, hey, it's all good
