The golden age of CoD was 2003-2007 (aside from CoD3, i call that stale milk).

Any CoD 2008+ only new(b)gen gamers enjoy....not hating but if ya JUST started playing online this gen ya dont have much FPS history behind ya.

The fact is they just dont make shooters like they used to, we need a gamer changer, another FPS to revolutionize the genre....just like how DOOM, Quake, Half-Life, Unreal Tournament etc etc did.

@ronvnkl232 Funny ya say that cause exactly how i got bored with WW2 same has happened with Modern, i do give props to Treyarch for throwing in zombies but for me Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, and Nation Red are my go to zombies. Only shooters im excited for this year are Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Aliens Colonial Marines, and Bioshock Infinite, they lookin fresh.....aside from that im all about rpgs now, all i play will stop when Diablo 3 releases!

@Ooo7ooO lol so you started playing online shooters when i was born lol anyway yeah i know the world war 2 thing was everywhere back at that time but i much prefer it over the modern combat we have today literraly every fps is modern warfare style game its soooooo annoying also world at war wasnt just like any other world war 2 shooter and for cod it did a few new things like co-op zombies and co-op campaign the co-op campaign didnt came back but co-op missions (zombies and spec ops) did

@ronvnkl232 WaW was more for newcomers not old school gamers, it wasn't "bad" but it in no way progressed the series, that's when the milking decline started.

I've been playin online shooters since 96 and have played the CoD series in full since 2003, when WaW came out in 08 all us old school gamers said "boringgg" because from 1998-2006 the WW2 setting was very over saturated BUT a newcomer to gaming wouldnt know that so WaW would feel new to them.

Im not hating, i am just bored.

@Ooo7ooO world at war is from 2008 you have to admit that game kicked ass buddy besides black ops wasnt bad either sure it wasnt amaizng but it was pretty good it was well balanced the killstreaks werent overpowered the maps were well design zombies came back the guns were fun to shoot and there was a very big veriaty of guns it had a lot of content and it was a very fun game over all although mw2 and mw3 sucks ass they are just broken

I wouldn't play these pieces of shit for a million bucks, the gameplay is HORRIBLE beyond belief, the multiplayer is bullshit, and there's a shit ton more problems with these games.
