LOL.. MAC OpenGL is outdated... Windows and Linux is always updated..

Anyone notice he has 14GB of RAM on a 32 bit system?

@Futureshopmac and dont get me wrong i use macs for everything. In my opinion, they are better at everything EXCEPT gaming. They might be great gaming machines (i personally dont think so), but they are not better than equivalent priced PC's at gaming
-
@AdrianoCROST Like that is a minus? Dude I have a fucking macbook and mac pro, ill show you a video if you want to. Direct X is a lot more powerful than Open GL. A lot of games run using direct x. I get consistently better performance on my bootcamp partition using Direct X 9 than on mac. And my windows 7 which has Direct X 10 looks phenomenal. Its a huge minus. And give me one way macs are better than PC's for gaming

Yeah, Open GL is the territory of mac!
And what about Linux and Windows support Open GL 4.0 and Mac Osx only the 3.2 with Lion?
Mac osx in terms of graphics sucks.

@Pikacharve Retard neither OS except Windows don't have DirectX so it's stupid to count that as some minus and look at game quality trought DirectX.
Second OpenGL is not too much behind D3D in funcionality so end user don't see a difference in finished product and when you count high portability of OpenGL you have a winner and that is not DirectX or better to say Direct3D. You are really retarded if you think that XXX API mean better graphic, better game or better gamng platform.
-
@AdrianoCROST excuse me? are you retarded? Opengl is inferior to Direct X
-
@Futureshopmac "MACS DON'T FUCKING HAVE DIRECT X!" Like that is a minus :D Nothing have stupid DirectX except MS Windows and Xbox.
"PC's are infinity times better for gaming." WRONG !!! Mac was always been better for gaming but people like you only count quantity not quality. Every Game that i tried on both platforms are better on Mac.
Unfortunately, he left out the part that Cinebench is made by MAXON, which means it has the same AR engine that Cinema 4D has, and every veteran user of C4D knows that OpenGL scores have always been better on the Windows side for some time now, assuming both machines being compared have identical, or near identical GPU's.
OSX has been slower due to limited GPU selections and outdated OpenGL.
