The same goes for the extensions on corners.. This might shield the right curb at first, but it still means cars and bikes will have to squeeze through that space. Blocking road surface and making obstacles is a terrible idea. I'm a cyclist who's been hit more than once, and I'm telling you now I wouldn't trust drivers not to try to pass me in those spaces, and that makes this proposed plan a danger I would avoid.

My only question; why place median dividers in the road, that force cars crossing the speed cushion to move right, into the roadside where most cyclists will ride? Seems this will only serve to endanger cyclists sharing the road with cars.

to bad in the process of BUILDING these things the construction workers have made RIO & Nueces a death/crash trap for bikers
