After a few weeks of coding, I got a working grappling hook! Still have a long way to go and when the beam is interrupted with obstacles, it ceases to function and you fall... but that's kinda realistic, I guess?
Default materials, models, and sounds. I haven't imported any of those yet. This was simply a test for gameplay.
Right click shoots out the "hook", scroll wheel retracts or extended the beam, once attached to the end location, you can jump off the wall. When hooked, you'll swing normally, but lose momentum after a while. You can use the move keys to add momentum to swing around.
To do: fix crosshairs, alter beam physics so it doesn't arc, change the beam from instantaneous to having travel time.
