In honour of OLTL's anniversary, I am posting the oft-requested conclusion to the infamous Eterna storyline. Originally aired February 28, 1989. Sit back, relax, enjoy, and make sure you have the recipe for Bo Buchanan's Macho Nachos to go with all this cheese.

  • I loved this storyline! thanks for posting!

  • Again, I know this storyline gets (or got) a lot of criticism, but from an actor's standpoint getting to play this had to have been such fun!!! I bet Erika had a ball playing all of this out, especially the destruction of Eterna!

  • This is so cool--one of my favorite soap's most famous (infamous?) storylines ended on the very same day I was born. Awesome. :D

  • @Mslaydi Well they could only do so much now vs. then when they could justify the expense. And I know I sort of joke about Eterna, but ti be honest it was some of the most addictive television ever shown on daytime. I am surprised that OLTL never got as much recognition as it should have for this story, in addition to Viki's out of body experience, Clint's time travelling, and Megan's Daisy Award week. OLTL was a series of firsts, literally.

  • @WilyKat76 , yesssssssssssss goodness. One life to live has had some crazy story lines. If they'd been writing a year or so ago the way they are writing now, maybe they wouldn't be facing being canceled.

  • Bring back rafe! More interesting then john mcbain!

  • ASA...LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whe did this Clint get replaced by the Clint we have now?

  • This storyline is totally LOL worthy. Yes, it was probably terrible for everyone watching then. But, it's totally evolved into a classic must-see for newer OLTL viewers because of how crazy it was. Also, I've never noticed how much the 2nd Clint (Jerry Ver Dorn) looks like Asa did when he was younger. :)
