Yes those are F40's, those Locomotives used belong to the RMS # 1 back when Speno Rail services ran them. These Loco's used to pull 120 20 hp grinding motors all back in the 80's. (Rosebud)

I worked for Pandrol jackson from 96-05. They typically run an 10 man crew for these Main line machines and 4 man for switch and crossing grinders. The locos are modified GP38s then a camp car for sleeping, kitchen car w/ a full time cook, water tanker for fire control, power car for online power (catapillar gen. for house power inside as well),3 grinding cars with 32 (40amp) grinding motors on each, power car #2, water tank #2 and the (B-end) locomotive.
Did i hear a truck with a K3 or K5????

The two engines were honking at each other for some reason. I don't know what type of horn those are, probaly a K3.

one of those were on the news before, the news people thaght it was like a runaway train trying to stop. lol News people know NOTHING abbout trains, at least around where I live.
