GS500 Restoration Engine Start Second attempt

8 month ago I started to restore a very damaged 1992 suzuki gs 500, this is the second attempt to start the engine.

@GTRmonster Not sure if you're still interested, but I ran across the video and can expalin.

Those are automotive gauges, you can buy them at any car parts store or off E-Bay. They should be electronic Oil Temp and Oil Pressure. If this 500 is anything like my older GS400, there is a plug or two on the engine that connect to oil passages. Thread those out, and thread in the appropriate sensors (usually supplied with gauges) and wire everything up.

Pretty streight forward actually.

Yeah, I'm curious about that too since I just bought a gs500 and would love to customize it on mine.

Yeah, annoying thing about the GS. But i got used to mine :)

@12lewis12 I believe he added the fuel gauge and oil temp because these bikes don't have those.
