Painted over the course of 50 hours and compressed down to just under 4 minutes, this video shows the layering process and building up of color, along with extensive black line work it took to complete the piece. Done with 1 Shot sign painter's enamel and acrylic on clayboard.

  • I had no idea you could get such brilliant colors from that kind of enamel paint. And to think I've been trying to find such brilliant colors from acrylic paints. So far my favorite acrylic paint has been Gold Fuilds but I'll have to try that enamel you use. It's funny how it says it's sign painters enamel paint in a humble can then you take it out and start painting and it's like sunshine in a can :D You have a great steady hand!

  • @TheFutureLooksGrimm Thanks Future! Give them a try for sure...you''ll really dig them for sure!

  • Ok, please help me... Please explain the acrylic background. Did you use any kind of a gloss medium With it? How long after you applied it before you used the rag to bend? And was that rag wet or dry? Finally, did you go back over it again with a medium to smooth it out?
