As in the film, the band come from all walks of life, dedicating themselves to becoming "the hardest working band" of their genre and it's that dedication and passion for soul music, that captures the audience from the moment the band explode onto the stage. hi Algol65 yes the band is still around and playing, there are only two orginal members from the film though, and i beleive they only go out as a nine piece, regards sean (singer the Kommitments)
