Monster Hunter Portable 3rd: Royal Banquet (Gold and Silver Arena, 王族の招宴)

So here's Royal Banquet with SnS, no separation of any kind.

If you guys haven't had the pleasure of this quest yet, give it a whirl - there's a massive damage buff on these guys, and a huge stun buff too. It's really damn hard, and aside from Twin Terrors it might just be the hardest PSP MH quest around. It's certainly leagues ahead of most of P3rd's difficulty, and it feels like you're taking on G rank versions of these guys.

It took a while to get a good run, because I was determined not to separate them, use flashes, cats, traps or die. That last one was the real hard one to stick to :)

@Cadetdude I don't understand why you posted that here. I imported and patched a copy, and I explicitly support Operation Cherry Blossom wherever I can.

@Cadetdude You can't patch a UMD, but you can rip a patch-able file from a UMD, which is what I did. I can actually read enough Japanese to play it fine anyway, I patch it for the benefit of my subscribers.

The set looks so stupid, and yet so badass. I don't understand how the hell that works. Also the only thing I can think of that would make this quest easier is just block more, but I don't know how bad the bleed on these bastards is.

@ReginaldBathwater Twin Terrors is harder because it's unfair. The Rajang will sometimes clip throgh each other, and at other times push each other around. It means that evading their insanely damage attacks can come down to luck, and that makes for a BS experience, IMO.
