WOLFRAM M. GRUSS - 3D Showreel

This reel sums up my past two intense 3D projects. It features two 3D animated short films, that I wrote and directed. "Joe Eskimo" was produced together with Mario Tran phuc and Max Rieß, both who work now for Pixomondo. The film won several awards and was even shown on the Berlinale 2008.
"703037" is not out yet but is a project with Ümit Dönmez who now works for Blackmountain and some other companies.
In both cases I was responsible/ involved not only for the direction / story, but also for developing, modelling, texturing, shading, lighting, rigging the backgrounds (to create the world). We shared the animation of the scenes and the characters and only in 703037 I also textured the characters. I did not model, weight and rig the characters. I also did a big chunk of the compositing, and in "703037" most of the VFX. I was also the DOP, did the sound design and the music in both cases.
