Great flight. I've flown over Yosemite a couple of times in a plane, and have to keep at least 2000 feet above the ground (usually base that of El Cap and Half Dome), so 10500 and 11500 are the minimum altitude. This looks very exciting.

Pretty exciting aproach Ryan. I think I will try a similar one this summer.
Most pilots seem to end up way short of the breakdown but performing a final such as in the video can actually help. As long as I can muster the skills to pull off the landing, lol.

Great video quality! Excellent flying too! That makes me wanna try hang gliding! (I am an airplane pilot). Looks like this is the closest you get to true flying. Question: why the "you gotta be kidding me" at the end? Was that a rough landing? Excuse my ignorance, but it looked fine to me! :)

All in all the landing wasnt really bad, but generally one tries to avoid the glider touching the ground, particularly the nose, in this case my nose touched the ground softly but I was still unhappy withmyself
