The money comes from a producer. The writer writes the script. The director comes up with the visual treatment. Do you think the 3D guys just do the right version from the get go? No, he has to say "Do it like this...it needs to do etc etc"

Anyway, you guys are all totally right, he should get nothing. The 3d guys should just make everything 3D all day long. Maybe they could make this comment 3D and then run the U.S.A. and rescue babies from 3D fires. Because shit, these guys sound awesome...

the director is the most important, besides the script writer. The director can make a movie shine, or make the movie shit.

he directs the entire process. he tells them his two cents to begin with, then checks up on their progress through the whole project. if he didn't like where it was heading, he'd say "try again."

well i still think the most talent and work belongs to the 3D artists, its not blomkamp who does the models, textures,lighting, (design)
