  • @dave90mckeague Mapex are made for rock-pop they has a more opened sound , Gretsch are made for jazz ,funk, classic rock .... they had a tighter sound . Both are great. I have a Usa Custom and a Pearl BRX Master series (Birch).

  • What a crep this fred gretsch is. Hes the braging about his patents, that his dad got. And yes hes the guy that all the talks about in the industry for trying to grab a small companies patent away from them. This guy is a real piece of work.

  • @blica1 Don't talk in caps. It hurts everyones eye.

  • @kikme778 what the hell are you talking about ?.....yelling ??...no one's yelling..

    that's just weird ,man..sorry..

  • @blica1 please stop yelling

  • The last statement in the video describes the intimacy of making a drum shell come to life is such a very true thing. It becomes a personal thing, an exchange of energy between the maker and the drum itself that results in a more deliberate sound. A sound that was created from the mind of another, carrying the drum artist's ideas into all the music their instruments create.

Their mark on the sound of the world is undeniable, these Gretsch drums. So much great music was that Gretsch sound!

  • Gretsch drum rules!!!!
