great song. too bad they weren't playing in a good city. From the looks of the crowd, it seems like they are at a ninth grade dance somewhere in Iowa.

I sit hear obsessing over make my music so complex and these people com along with the minimalist tip and blow my mind. cool stuff.

@tableface0157 What? This song is groovy as hell, yeah its slow, but still, its got a constant groove throughout the whole song. This song is super easy to dance to. Though you were right about it being great.

was this recorded in/around the date of the video upload? because they played a few of the songs (although not full band versions) in maine in february of 09
-
the bobbing at the beginning tells you that you're in for a treat
-
haha i feel for the people in the crowd, cuz there really isnt anyway that u can dance or move to this song... but thats one of the reasons its great
-
LOL the people in the crowd don't know what to do.
-

-
the opening riff reminds me of a beatles song but i can't think of it
-

I was thinking more of the people in the crowd 'dancing'

This performance was at Terrace Club @ Princeton University (hence the channel being PrincetonMusicScene)...it was the night before the Dirty Projectors officially released their track list and title of Bitte Orca in Spring 2009

Yes, this is correct. Dave also said this was the first time they performed any of the songs off Bitte Orca live, ever.
