this is just a video that a friend of mine took with his digital camera and I thought it would be cool to put some music to it! it is no way a example of good technique.

  • It looks like you're doing really well, though what really lets you know how well you're doing a routine is how clean the cracks are, which was hard to tell in this video. The only I'd mention is that when I'm doing this move I'm rotating my wrists. When I bring the whip back from the overhead crack, I'm rotating my thumb up, and as I bring the whip forward into the flick I rotate my thumb down just as I'm going for the crack. I think the added rotation makes it looks less awkward.
