I had mine done in east grinstead too great litte hospital..
I am scared my graft is rejecting after 10 years after my last checkup my pressure is pretty high. If it does go wrong I am going to have to choose to go though it all again or loose my eye.. :(
had a corneal graft done when i was ten and now waiting for another one, and this video answered a lot of my questions that i never felt comfortable asking...also scared the hell out of me as well though so thanks for posting it.
Had my graft done at queen victoria hospital east grinstead back in 1980 and it was filmed ... but alas i never got to see it. I suspect as technology progressed this was not exactly how mine was done. Keratoconus is currently being monitored in the other eye but may never need surgery, just have to keep wearing my contact lens for that eye. Amazing to watch and thankful that this procedure was available to me.
I had a corneal graph and well i just watched this vid ,and thort thats just amazing, thanks , this somewhat explains to me the lost hours i try to recollect, now and then,....amazing!!!
Good god, this video is very professionally narrated. The music is soothing, but....seeing the procedure done tells me exactly why I am NOT a surgeon. Nor do I ever want to be one.
