  • Quick question why and how does your corvette make that hiccup sound?? ive been curious and always wanted to know?

  • @tubbz23 , hey, it's called a "lope", it's the difference in lift and duration of the camshaft thats in it. Stock cams have mild to almost no lope at idle, the more aggressive the cam shaft, the more of a stumble or hiccup in the sound.

  • Yes, it's an auto, and as for the cam, it's a custom grind cam for the LS2 by Carolina Auto Masters.

  • @robbedoes1985 Cam is short for camshaft....Go love on your variable cams somewhere else. No one wants your haterade on their video.

why auto my man, not to be rude, but it's obviously not a daily driver or a drag car, so whats the point, you gotta enjoy your car man. please respond, just really really curious. thanks. beautiful car.

  • @DraikonZ3 No! americunts call it a cam but it isn't; a cam is a eccentric or multiply curved surface on the camshaft, a well oiled cam doesn't make sound at all, modern engines have a variable cam system to provide acceptable to optimal valve opening and closing moments at every rpm.

  • @robbedoes1985 It' called a Cam.

  • @tubbz23 The sounds is the american's lack of mechanical and electronic engine management technology
