Messing around on my G&L S-500 while testing my webcam.
I think it's a Full-Drive II FM I'm kicking in for the dirty bits, and the amp's a Princeton Reverb. Probably. To be honest I found this on my hard drive from about a year ago.
My opinion is that the FD Ii FM is the best for Strat or Tele tones. The Keeley TS-9 Mod + is better for humbucker tones and is only just the smallest bit the lesser in overall tone than the FD. But the FD has the boost mode, and to emulate that I end up running 2 TS-9's
I had the FD II FM long before the Keeley. In fact the Keeley TS-9's were bought in an attempt to replicate what I could get with the FD in a smaller size because I bought myself a Boss BCB-60 pedal board that couldn't accomodate the FD II FM easily. I alreday had stock TS-9 RI and TS-808 RI pedals, but they didn't sound as good as the FD had. So one night I started clicking on links and the next thing I knew i had a board full of Keeley pedals and a big credit card bill ;)
you think the keleey ts808 truy-baypass has a more beautiful tone that fulltone 2 FM?
