I frequently practice my banjo tunes on a ukulele. I tune it to the same interval as the banjo. I do this so I can sit in my car when I an crossing Puget Sound on the ferry. I just use that time to practice. I used to use my banjo, but I had to roll the window down. It is just too cold to so do in the winter,

Wonderful!
When you play the 'full chord' (the di in the bumditty) do you most of the time play only the two bottom strings and only sometimes 3 or 4 strings?
Corneelist 10 months ago
@Corneelist Usually its just two strings, sometimes I do all four to get an accented, louder sound.

Awesome song and technique! Sorry if you've answered this before, but did you make any customizations or upgrades to that Republic Reso, besides the Aquila strings?

@youronlyfriendjane new tuners, new nut, fret work, new strings, compensated saddle!

What is your tuning? It almost sounds like an adaption of a modal banjo tuning,
G1le 1 year ago
@G1le It is standard ukulele tuning gcea. I also play it on the banjo in a modal tuning.
